Getting started
What is FrameFlow?
FrameFlow is a template marketplace and AI studio for video editors: browse and import professional templates directly inside After Effects (Premiere Pro, Apple Motion and DaVinci Resolve packs are coming to the catalog too), and generate images, video and audio with credit-based AI tools.
How do I install the plugin?
- Create an account at getframeflow.app and verify your email.
- Download the plugin from the Plugin page and install it.
- Open After Effects → Window → Extensions → FrameFlow, sign in (email or Google), press ↻ Sync and browse the catalog.
Why can't I import a template?
- The template may not have its project pack uploaded yet — the card shows it as preview-only.
- Free plan has a monthly download limit; Pro removes it. Check your usage on the account page.
- Make sure you're signed in inside the plugin and your subscription is active.
Plans, credits & billing
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The full template library is available on every plan, at any resolution — Free is not limited to lower-resolution files. Free gives a limited number of template downloads per month and starter AI credits. Pro removes the download limit and adds a larger monthly credit allowance. See Pricing for current numbers.
How do AI credits work?
Every AI generation (image, video, voice, SFX) costs credits shown before you run it. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle and don't roll over; one-time credit packs you purchase are kept until used.
How do refunds work?
See the Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
For contributors
How do I become a contributor?
Apply from the Studio sign-in page — our team reviews applications. Once approved, you get access to the Contributor Studio to upload templates.
Upload guidelines
- One template = one .zip containing: the project file (.aep / .mogrt / other supported formats), a preview image (JPG/PNG) and a short preview video (MP4). Up to 3 GB per pack.
- Use a descriptive file name — the title, category and tags are generated from it automatically and can be edited before submitting.
- Keep previews honest: they must show exactly what the template renders.
- Only upload work you own or have the right to distribute — you confirm this on every upload, and identical packs from different accounts are blocked automatically.
- All packs pass a malware scan and human moderation before they appear in the catalog.
How do payouts work?
Earnings accrue from unique subscriber downloads of your approved templates and are paid out by the FrameFlow team. Track your balance in Contributor Studio → Settings → Earnings & payouts.
Contact
Contributors can message the team directly from Contributor Studio → Messages. For anything else, email [email protected].
